Houston Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Recruiting Students As Prostitutes For Her Pimp Son

A former teacher Grigsby, and her son have been arrested by the Houston Police on charges of trafficking a child for indecent purposes.

The former teacher allegedly recruited three teenage students to work as prostitutes for her pimp son. She is accused of recruiting three runaway students, ages 15, 16, and 17.

Grigsby is charged with three counts each of prostitution and sex trafficking. The former teacher was released on $750,000 bond. As a condition of her bond, she is barred from contacting the three students or having unsupervised interactions with minors. Her son, Roger Magee is still in jail without bond.

She reportedly recruited troubled juveniles from the local high school by offering them a place to stay in a hotel. The prosecutor presented text messages between a student and Magee discussing payment for prostitution services via Zelle.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Trafficking Unit, the former teacher paid for the motel room where the services allegedly happened.

More teens have come forward after news of Grigsby’s arrest, informing the police that she also recruited them while they were students at a high school where she taught.

“Teacher used to be someone that students can trust, not someone trying to traffic them!” someone commented. “When a black mother tells you she will do anything for her son… Gotta believe her,” another person wrote. “Anybody else notice a lot of female teachers been on predator timing lately,” someone else added.
