J. Cole is trending again, the North Carolina spitter has backtracked and has now apologized to Kendrick Lamar for dissing him on ‘7 Minute Drill’ at Dreamville Fest.

“How many of y’all think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest ever to pick up a mic,” he said before revealing that he hasn’t been sleeping right the last few days.

As you’d expect, he’s currently getting dragged for being soft as Kendrick came for him first. “This nigga Kendrick been moving like Freddy Kruger in Cole’s dreams lmfaooo,” someone commented.

“Dude is out here apologising for a diss, hip hop used to mean something,” another person wrote. “Man Nas need to sit him down and talk some sense into him!” someone else penned. “Song wasn’t even that vulgar to feel that bad. Cole got a good heart for real lol,” another user added.

“I got a phone call, they say that somebody dissing / You want some attention, it come with extensions / He still doing shows but fell off like ‘The Simpsons’ / Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic / Your second shit put n—s to sleep but they gassed it / Your third shit was massive and that was your prime / I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine,” Cole raps on the track.
