Lil Uzi Vert Teases Coming Out The Closet At Coachella: “I’ve Been Holding This In For A Very Long Time”

Over the years, Lil Uzi Vert has faced questions about their sexuality due to their very androgynous sense of style and the fact that they changed their pronouns to they/them back in 2022, rumors have been circulating that the rapper might be gay.

Another thing that fueled the gay rumors is that Uzi is found of appreciating the support they’ve received from the LGBT community.

Well, Lil Uzi Vert has since been trending on social media following their energetic performance at the Coachella last night. At a point, the XO Tour Llif3 rapper was seen vogueing and dancing wildly as the crowd cheered.

Uzi also addressed rumors about his sexuality on stage, teasing the crowd, he said: “I’ve been holding this in for a very long time. I’m pretty sure a lot of your already know this..” he said. “What I wanna tell you tonight is I Love You,” the rapper jokingly concluded.

“He wanted to say I’m gay so bad let’s be real we all know I’ll give it about one more week and another bites the dust folks,” someone commented. “You was almost there my boy,” another person wrote. “JT should be looking at him side ways,” another user added.

Last year, Uzi set the record straight on their sexuality on their album Pink Tape. “First of all, I fuck eight bitches a day/ How could you ever say Lil Uzi gay?/ Fuck four of ’em raw, fuck four of ’em safe/ Think I’m splittin’ the odds before you to debate,” they rapped in the opening few lines of the intro track “Flooded the Face.”

Elsewhere, on “Spin Again”, Uzi doubled down on their assertion by bragging about sleeping with a girl who resembles Ice Spice. “I’m fucking the dogshit out of this bitch, her wig came off twice/ She had a lil’ fro, she look like Ice Spice/ She call me lil’ bro, fuckin’ on models in ‘Vogue’/ N-ggas, they thought I was gay, but I do not know how though,” they rapped.
