NBA YoungBoy Reportedly Refused To Give Up The Password To His Phones After They Arrested Him
NBA YoungBoy has since been in the news after he was arrested in his Utah home for multiple felony charges. The rapper has been on house arrest there, awaiting trial for a federal gun charge, for two years.
YB was booked for “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.”
Dreddsworld previously reported that NBA YoungBoy is now being hit with 63 new charges and was also accused of using the name of a woman who passed away to obtain pills. YB was taken into custody yesterday (April 16) following a search of his property.

According to another update reaching us at Dreddsworld, NBA YoungBoy refused to give up the passcodes to his devices following the arrest. In his words, he said “Take it and break it” when asked for the passcodes of his devices.
The update was reposted by The Daily Mail on X, formerly Twitter and has since been garnering reactions from tweeps.
“They gotta ask you for the password? no way they don’t have an alternative way to get in the phone,” someone commented. “Support him for standing up for his rights. Govt is corrupt,” another person wrote. “They bout to add another charge lol,” someone else added.
Back in February, prosecutors filed a request to address his allegedly “non-compliant behavior,” accusing him of doing drugs despite strict orders not to.
It’s not been revealed exactly which substances NBA YoungBoy was accused of using, however, the rapper allegedly told supervising officers he had “no intentions” of stopping.
