NBA On TNT Plays Kendrick Lamar’s Drake Diss “Euphoria” During Playoffs Halftime

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s ongoing beef took another turn with the NBA interjecting and seemingly picking a side. Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Euphoria” was surprisingly played during the TNT halftime show.

According to many fans m, the track which was released at 8:24 am was as a tribute to Laker Kobe Bryant.

Getting played during the playoffs halftime also solidifies its tie to the L.A Clippers. Shaq and Kenny Smith who were among the halftime panel began laughing when they heard the song.

“C’mon man,” Kenny Smith said. “Y’all putting us in the middle of the rap beef. [Now] we in the middle.” He then joked that the network needed to play Drake’s “Push Ups” in order to keep things even.

Clip of the moment has since been making rounds on online sparking debate among ms Hip Hop and NBA fans. “Shaq a Kdot fan for sure,” someone commented. “Drake got the bots on twitter, Kendrick has the streets,” another person wrote.

“Damn Television picking side now?” someone else queried. “Drake can’t even catch a break, he’s getting cooked everywhere,” someone else added.

The TNT halftime show played the third beat switch on the track, where K. Dot cuts loose and calls Drake a terrible father. “Why would I call around tryna get dirt on niggas? / Y’all think all my life is rap? / That’s ho shit, I got a son to raise, but I can see you don’t know nothin’ ’bout that,” Kendrick raps.

“Wakin’ him up, know nothin’ bout that / Then tell him to pray, know nothin’ ’bout that / Then givin’ him tools to walk through life like day by day, know nothin’ bout that / Teachin’ him morals, integrity, discipline, listen, man, you don’t know nothin’ bout that Speakin’ the truth and consider what God’s considerin’, you don’t know nothin’ bout that,” he continues.
