New Ho King Restaurant In Toronto Having Increase Sales After Kendrick Lamar Name Drop On “Euphoria”

Kendrick Lamar’s new diss track “Euphoria” aimed at Drake has caught a Chinese restaurant in the middle, but in a good way. On the track, Kendrick referenced the restaurant and it’s affected them in a good way.

Kendrick name dropped the restaurant “New Ho King” rapping: “Someone gon bleed in your family, crodie / I be at New Ho King eating fried rice with a dip sauce and a blammy, crodie.”

According to reports, the restaurant was where Drake got robbed in 2010 by 3 – 4 suspects, including a Toronto rapper named Sizzlac, who even rapped about it. It was reported that Drake got his chain snatched at the time.

Drake previously bragged about getting more love in the city where Kendrick’s from Kendrick reminded him that he got  robbed at a restaurant in his own city ‘New Ho King’.

The Chinatown restaurant is now experiencing soaring reviews following Kendrick Lamar’s mention. The Toronto restaurant has received a bunch of new five-star reviews on Google that shout out Kendrick athough it still has only a 3.9 overall rating.

Local TV station CityNews went out to Toronto’s Chinatown neighborhood to talk to the owner, who is thankful for all the new recognition.

According to “New Ho King” owner Johnny Lu, he’s trying to learn how to sing the song now. He said his phone has been blowing up with messages since the track dropped.

“This morning a lot of people texted me saying ‘Ho look at that, is that your restaurant..?’ and I said yes,” he explained. This new development has caused another round of debate among Hip Hop fans, specifically, Drake and Kendrick’s fans.
