A recording of the live video has since gone viral on social media, garnering mixed reactions from fans. “He’s corny asf and we know he will never be a Grammy nominated anything! So let’s move this along and let him create a new LHHATL storyline!” someone commented.

“Who needs a Grammy when that song been in constant rotation for the last almost 19 years? The publishing alone is the Grammy. SHE WROTE IT,” another person wrote.

“He being petty because she lost that grammy for that song meanwhile he don’t have a BET award to his name while he tryna be shady,” someone else penned. “He has serious issues with women,” another user added.

“Love” is a song by Keyshia Cole, written alongside producer Greg Curtis for her debut studio album The Way It Is (2005). The track was dropped on January 6 as the album’s fourth and final single and emerged as the most successful single from the album.

“Love” peaked at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number three on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, becoming her breakthrough record and preceding a string of modestly successful singles, also receiving platinum certification by the RIAA.
