Ja Rule Rubs Ashanti’s Baby Belly During Performance

Couple weeks back, Ashanti announced that she is pregnant with her and Ja Rule‘s first child. She also revealed that they’re engaged, making it a double celebration at the time.

The R&B singer has since been flaunting her baby bump online. In a new clip making rounds online, Ja Rule is seen showing his longtime friend and chart-topping collaborator and her baby some love.

During a recent performance, Ja Rule, who’s excited to be an uncle again, is seen rubbing Ashanti’s pregnant belly. The heartwarming gesture has since got fans talking, with the clip of their performance now going viral.

“23 years later and they still rocking out and making good music, love these full circle moments for Ashanti,” someone commented. “Baking a Baby in Happiness Should Be A REAL Thing! This is so cool to watch!” another person wrote.

Earlier this year, Ja Rule appeared on “Tamron Hall Show” where he spoke on Ashanti and Nelly’s red-hot reunion. When asked if he was surprised about the two rekindling their love, Rule answered saying:

“Not really. [Ashanti] and my wife, they do their ha-ha and ke-keing. You can tell, sometimes, when women… They know they want that old thing back. I don’t want to blow sis up, but the chemistry was there. The chemistry was there. And I think, for both of them, it came back quick.”

“So, I think they missed each other. It had to be that way because the way they just clicked and came back so fast, he continued, adding that it’s a “spin the block season.”
