Prison Officials Reportedly Gave YNW Melly Gatorade & Tylenol To Treat COVID-19

YNW Melly has been fighting to leave prison after he tested positive for Coronavirus. It was later confirmed that Melly’s condition has further deteriorated to the point where it sounds especially dire.

Citing legal documents from Melly’s attorney Bradford Cohen, it’s said that the young rapper has been experiencing “severe chills, heavy labored breathing, headaches, and body aches,” all while weighing a mere 114 pounds.

Last week, a judge ruled on his request to be released from prison as he awaits trial for his double murder case. The judge ultimately denied his motion and ordered the rapper to stay inside Broward County Jail.

According to new reports, Melly is being treated for COVID-19 with sports drink Gatorade and Tylenol. The rapper has been isolated from his cellmate, who also tested positive for the virus, but the outlet reports that jail staffers are not checking on him every hour as they are required to.

YNW Melly has also reached out to his collaborator, Kanye West, to help him out in this troubling time. He took to Twitter with a public cry for help, sending Kanye West a singular tweet that shows how desperate the rapper is.

We can’t tell if legendary Ye has responded to Melly’s request or not.
