Lil Baby Shares Heartbreaking IG Post As He Mourns Lil Marlo
Lil Baby is mourning the loss of his friend and label mate, Lil Marlo, who was shot and killed couple of days ago in Atlanta. Marlo’s death marked yet another loss in the Hip Hop community.
The promising rapper was found dead inside his car by police. He grew up in the Bowen Home projects around the 9th ward in western Atlanta with his best friend, popular rapper Lil Baby.
Lil Baby had earlier slammed DJ Akademiks for sharing an unconfirmed report that the Atlanta Police claimed the hit on the 30-year-old’s life was actually meant for him. “If you fucc wit me don’t post no weak ass fake news,” he wrote in one of his tweets.

The “My Turn” rapper took to Instagram where he wrote a heartbreaking post about the death of Marlo. “Dam Thug !! You kno what come with this shit that’s why I battle myself with straddling the fence,” he begins.
“Streets a stepping stool to the next level !! I say that to say I’m fucced up bout Yung ru but at the same time I’m so familiar with this shit I find myself numb!! Ain cried in like 8 yrs !! I thought I couldn’t no more … this one hit me hard.”
He continued, “Marlo was a gangster an sometimes death comes with that I want all the people who look up to me or even admire what I’m doing to understand an kno what come with this “gangster shit “ if that’s how you living.”
“I just talked to you right before this shit happen I can’t never forget the times we had I just hate this shit went all bad.”
