Big Sean Says Another Jhene Aiko Collabo Album Twenty88 Is In The Works
Big Sean Reveals He and Jhené Aiko Have Another Twenty88 Project On The Way
Big Sean recently dropped arguably one of the best projects of 2020 with “Detroit 2“. The No. 1 album has been making rounds on social media and Hip Hop fans are more than impressed with the body of work.
Recently, Sean Don took to Reddit for an extensive AMA session. The rapper answered a wide range of questions about his latest effort as well as another release he’s been teasing for years.
“Sup man, big fan. Detroit 2 is still on repeat,” one fan wrote before mentioning Sean’s collaborative project with Jhené Aiko. “Are you guys working on a new TWENTY88 album?”
“Thank you run it back to back. It’s in the works,” the Detroit rapper responded. Jhene and Sean, collectively known as Twenty88, shared their self-titled debut album back in 2016.
The eight-track project was warmly received by Sean and Aiko’s respective fans, many of whom have been clamoring for a follow-up. It seems the project is finally on its way.
Last week, Big Sean celebrated his album’s success, making it his third #1 album in a row. “Thank you! I sacrificed my privacy,” the rapper wrote on Instagram.
“I put so many emotions and lessons I learned the hard way into this music and gave a honest glimpse into my heart! it wasn’t easy, nights I thought of Offing myslef cause Life was too heavy, but the lock in was worth it! Had to remember if I’m still here and so many aren’t, it’s for reason.”
