Starbucks Workers Set To Strike In Protest Over Pride Decor Bans

A strike protest against Starbucks seems to be on the rise.

According to statements obtained by TMZ, Starbucks baristas are planning to go on a strike throughout more than 150 stores.

The idea came into play after the coffee company reportedly banned pride decorations in several store locations.

The strike is allegedly supposed to take place on Friday where almost 4,000 workers will walk off the job and protest.

The expected result from the union’s demands is for all locations to allow workers to use Pride decorations to show support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Since word of the protest has spread, Starbucks officials have denied any allegations of removing LGBTQ+ decor from outside of any of their stores despite workers acknowledging it.

The strike is still set to occur next week, no further statements have been made as of right now.
