It looks like some doctors in Israel have worked a miracle for a little boy who was decapitated.

According to Daily Mail, 12-year-old Palestinian Suleiman Hassan was decapitated after being involved in a car accident.

He was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike. Despite many thinking he wouldn’t survive, doctors were able to reattach the head.

Per the report, “Doctors said Suleiman’s head was ‘almost completely detached from the base of his neck.’ He underwent painstaking surgery carried out by an intensive care team that took several hours.”

The surgery was done in June but doctors waited to announce the results to make sure there were no complications. The surgery is only possible if the vessels are still intact.

It will take a while for him to regain mobility in the neck.

I know a couple people whose heads aren’t on straight…might need to send them to Israel!
