Chicago Man Robs Bank Then Returns With Fake Dreadlocks To Steal Another $6K
A suburban Chicago man is in police custody after robbing a bank, not once but twice using a disguise.
The kicker happens to be that the man was captured on surveillance camera already having been to the same bank branch hours before returning in a disguise of fake dreadlocks and a mask to rob the place.
“Give me all the money. I have a gun, or I’ll kill you,” read the note given to the teller by Devonte Eaton. The teller handed over a total of about $6,004 to Eaton who subsequently left the premises.

When authorities arrived, the teller told them about the similarities between the man who robbed the place and another man who’d entered earlier asking for change.
After comparing the robber and the man identified as Eaton, authorities were convinced it was the same person.
According to CWB Chicago, “when the FBI executed a search warrant at Eaton’s home on Tuesday, agents found a dreadlock wig, hat, shoes, sweats, and a t-shirt that looked similar to the bank robber’s, according to the agent.
Eaton allegedly told the investigators that he borrowed the construction vest from a friend and no longer had it.” He’s since been charged with bank robbery.
