Nickelodeon Star Alexa Nikolas Rejects Dan Schneider’s ‘Quiet on Set’ Apology
Zoey 101” star Alexa Nikolas, is not her for Dan Schneider’s apology. In a recent interview posted on YouTube, the Nickelodeon actress reacted to Dan’s apology for the way child actors were treated during the production of his shows.
“When someone doesn’t personally come to you and apologize, it’s not an apology. If you hear about it through other people, it’s not really an apology right? An apology is to the person that you hurt. That’s what an apology is for,” Alexis said.
“I would’ve appreciated if Dan apologized directly to me. He’s a bully, a meanie, and impacted my life, right? … Where’s a phone call of an apology? How come you can do all of this, how can everyone do all of this but not reach out to the person that they hurt?” she added.
Quiet on Set” docuseries featured many actors and former child stars including Drake Bell, who alleged abuse, inappropriate behavior and a toxic work environment during their time on shows produced by Schneider.
As we previously reported, during a video conversation with actor Bobbie K. Bowman, popularly known as BooG!e, Dan Schneider admitted that viewing the docuseries was “difficult” and “embarrassing.”

He continued, “I apologize to anybody that I ever put in that situation.” Dan also said he’s sorry for the pain he caused his TV staff. “There were lots of people there who witnessed it who also may have felt uncomfortable. So I owe them an apology, as well.”
