Apparently, Candiace Dillard-Bassett’s time at ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ has come to an end. It’s a sad news for the fans and viewers of the Bravo’s reality TV show. Candiace made the announcement in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE Magazine.
The reality TV star told People exclusively on March 25 that she would be leaving the show, which she joined in Season Three after six years.
“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey,” Bassett said in a statement given to People.

She continued, “With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from ‘RHOP.’”
Candiace Dillard appreciated her longtime fans, writing, “Your unwavering support has been my guiding light, and I look forward to the exciting adventures that lie ahead — and more importantly, sharing them all with you!”
The announcement comes ahead of the Season Eight reunion of “RHOP,” to air on Sunday, March 31 on Bravo. “This saddens me so much. The bandits won and I HATE that!!!!!!” a fan commented.
“I bet she got fired because of the fight.. her mouth is extremely reckless and she’s very condescending!, this is the second time she gets into a physical fight due to her MOUTH!” someone wrote. “She’s trying to have a family, so I think it’s good cus it’s too much stress for her. Love me some Candice,” another person wrote.
