‘RHOP’ Star Karen Huger Hit With Driving Under Influence Charge In Connection To Car Crash

Real Housewives of Potomac’ star Karen Huger, has been charged with driving under the influence and has been hit with many other traffic violations in connection with her car crash this week.

Karen is facing one charge of driving under the influence in Tuesday night’s wreck, which notes she is required to appear in court to answer for it, according the o online court records.

The reality TV star also faces an additional DWI charge. There are several other alleged offenses she has faced, per the docket, covering everything from negligent and reckless driving to driving well over the speed limit and driving with a suspended license plate.

The 6 traffic violations she was cited for carry fines ranging from $50 to $510 but do not require a court appearance.

Karen was driving her 2017 Maserati late Tuesday night in Potomac, Maryland, in what police described as an aggressive manner, as initially reported by TMZ. The police told the media outlet that Karen hit a median and a crosswalk sign at an intersection before proceeding and colliding with a parking sign next to the roadway.

The car itself was reportedly totaled, but Huger said she was doing fine after the accident, which the housewife attributed to driving while in a super emotional state.

Karen told TMZ that she went out to dinner with a friend, where the two discussed some pretty emotional topics like KH’s late mother and said she was crying while trying to drive home. According to her, she swerved to avoid a car coming straight at her.
