Cardi And Nicki Minaj Set To Headline 2019 BET Experience

BET has announced the official lineup for the 2019 BET Experience festivities, and both Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are performing.

Since last years fight, (that Nicki didn’t want any parts of) the rappers have been kept away from each other.

BET is finally bringing the feuding emcees to the same event – and fans are already expecting fireworks. But there will unlikely be too much drama. Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez, Trippie Redd and Bri Steves will perform on Jun. 21. Cardi B, Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby and City Girls will perform on Jun. 22.

The 7th instalment of the festival, which builds towards the 2019 BET Awards, will see the fierce femcees top-line two nights of concerts at L.A. Live.

The BET Awards ceremony will then crown festivities on June 23rd. General tickets go on sale Friday. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.

Their feud all stems from a song they did with Migos, “MotorSport,” which was originally a collaboration with just Quavo and Nicki. Later, after the rest of the Migos were added, she says Quavo texted her asking if Cardi could also have a verse on it, which Minaj says she approved (and still has the receipts to prove it).

However, that’s not the story she says Cardi or Migos told after the fact. “The only thing with Cardi that really, really, really hurt my feelings was the first interview she did after ‘MotorSport’ came out. With ‘MotorSport,’ I kinda felt ambushed,” Nicki says.

“The first thing that came out of her mouth about a Nicki Minaj feature was ‘she changed the verse’ … When it was time to clear the air about that, no one did that. All of them allowed me to look like I lied.”
