Director John Singleton Is Battling Stroke

Veteran director John Singleton endured an enormous stroke on Wednesdays and he’s in the emergency clinic recouping.

John’s kin conveyed his announcement yesterday, after news broke of the director’s medical problems.

“On Wednesday, April 17th our beloved son/father, John Singleton, suffered a stroke while at the hospital,” the statement read. “John is currently in the ICU and under great medical care. We ask that privacy be given to him and our family at this time and appreciate all of the prayers that have been pouring in from his fans, friends and colleagues.”

A relative revealed to TMZ that the 51-year-old had registered himself with the medical clinic after his leg was powerless after a flight home from Costa Rica and that the stroke was considered “mild.”

There is a developing concern – via web-based networking media – from aficionados of the executive. Some are hypothesizing that John’s condition is more awful than being accounted for somewhere else.

The theory originated from an individual professing to be John’s relative on Instagram – who guarantees that chief might be “close to demise.”
