Mayweather Made Some Bucks Faking A Rematch With Manny Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather left fans in anticipation after releasing a video confirming a rematch with Manny Pacquiao in Saudi Arabia some days back.
The video was later shared by a verified twitter page of Arab News and it sparked more debate on whether the fight is happening or not.

Arab News shared the news with the caption :
Undefeated, 50-0 boxing legend @FloydMayweather released a video on Sunday saying he was heading to #SaudiArabia for talks about a rematch with Filipino superstar @MannyPacquiao

In the circulating clip, Mayweather said: “I wanna say thank you. “It’s an honor to come to Saudi Arabia to sit down with you guys to talk about the Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch.
Later on, He stated that “The video that y’all been seeing is false because I’ve been to Saudi Arabia. I went there a long time ago confirmed by Fighthype to be January 2019.
“I talked to them about me fighting there, just different fights, but they wanted me to specifically say Manny Pacquiao.
“Saudi Arabia. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. I’m on my way.”
“And actually, we didn’t just talk about boxing; we talked about different events; us bringing different events out there.”
As it turns out, that fight won’t be happening and Mayweather says he only made that video several months ago because he got paid a hefty sum of $2,200,000.
To clarify things better, Floyd shared the bank statements as evidence of his claim, along with the following caption, on instagram:
“There is a video circulating that I made 8 months ago about a “MAYWEATHER – PACQUIAO” REMATCH. I got paid $2,200,000 to make the video. The truth is, the fight will never happen again. Now, swipe left and look at the money that got wired to me for the video. Now, who’s the smart one ? I’m making millions just for 10 second video drops”

Although Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach, recently told TMZ that they’re serious about Mayweather-Pacquaio II, but it appears as though Floyd has zero real interest in the bout, other than teasing his fans for a quick couple million.

In other news, Floyd Mayweather has reportedly acquired Bugatti newly released car worth $9M.
