NYPD Drops 5 Rappers From Rolling Loud Fest Lineup
NYPD Drops Casanova, Don Q, Pop Smoke & More From Rolling Loud Lineup
Rolling Loud is set to kick off in New York City later today, but it appears a few acts might get cut from the festivities. Casanova, Pop Smoke and more have been requested to be removed from the line-up by the NYPD.
And the news is that the request has been granted.
This happened after media outlet ‘The Fader’ revealed a letter from the NYPD sent to Rolling Loud that reads :
“The New York Police Department requests the below listed individuals be removed from performing at the Rolling Loud Festival taking place at Citi Field on Saturday, October 12, 2019 and Sunday, October 13, 2019 due to public safety concerns.”
Then the NYPD named 5 rappers that have been dropped from the performance lineup.

Rolling Loud has chosen to comply with the police’s demands and dropped all five rappers from their setlist according to NYTimes.
The reasoning behind this according to the news outlet is that all artists ”have been affiliated with recent acts of violence citywide.”
As for now the rappers that have been dropped are yet to give a statement concerning it and we hope to hear from them soonest.
