Dwayne Wade has been supportive of his 12 year old child transitioning to female, from Zion to Zaya. The retired NBA baller has been receiving lots of praises and as well as backlash over the act.

Apparently, Zaya’s church family consider her to be female also as she was singing with thee church’s girl’s choir yesterday.

Back in December 2019, Dwayne took to twitter to respond to the homophobic slurs towards his child after pictures of Zaya with painted nails surfaced.

“I’ve seen some post-thanksgiving hate on social about my family photo. Stupidity is apart of this world we live in—so I get it. But here’s the thing—I’ve been chosen to lead my family not y’all. So we will continue to be us and support each other with pride, love & a smile!” he wrote on Twitter.
