1501 Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford, made controversial headlines couple of weeks ago, after a woman and her child died inside his Houston home. The two drowned inside the baseball player’s pool.

“My heart’s heavy, the tragic incident that happened in my home will be with me forever,” the former Major League Baseball star has wrote in a statement regarding the incident.

According to new reports, Carl Crawford has been arrested for choking out his baby mama. The former Los Angeles Dodgers star was arrested after he was accused of assaulting his baby mama during an argument over a man she had begun dating.

Houston police were called to the home of Gabriele Washington on May 8, after Crawford allegedly produced a handgun from which he unloaded the ammunition in her presence. He then demanded to know the details about her new relationship.

She says he then pushed her to the floor, slammed her head against a wall and choked her. She managed to break away to call the cops after their 1-year-old daughter walked in and he turned his attention to the child.

Carl was arrested and booked before posting his $50,000 bond. He then ran but continued to send threatening cellphone texts to Washington, according to the affidavit.
