Tekashi 6ix9ine reunited with female rap star Nicki Minaj for another joint titled “TROLLZ”. The song quickly went viral after it was dropped yesterday, but it appears it’s not doing so great on streaming platforms.

However, the colorful visuals broke 6ix9ine’s previous record for the most viewed YouTube Hip Hop music video in the first 24 hours.

Nicki had take to her Instagram page to share that the video for “Trollz” had “the most views in hip hop history in less than 24 hours.” Unfortunately for 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj, the song is not doing as well as expected.

Everyone expected that the song would quickly reach number one on streaming services. But according to reports reaching us, the song may end up being a flop.

The song debuted at #25 on global Spotify and #15 on US Spotify. And it’s still stuck at #4 on Apple Music. In comparison, Lil Baby’s Black Lives Matter song has already reached #1 with no promo.

Tekashi’s last song Gooba reached number one on all streaming platforms within hours of its release. The song is not officially “flopping” yet. But entertainment insiders are worried that the track isn’t building up the traction that many expected.

One record industry veteran told MTO News, “Tekashi is known for coming out and breaking the internet with hit songs. Trolls video is good, mostly because of Nicki. But the song isn’t that good.” See the receipts below :
