Terry Crews Under Fire Over ‘Black Lives Better’ Tweet
Terry Crews Blasted On Twitter Over ‘Black Lives Better’ Tweet
Earlier this year, actor Terry Crews made controversial headlines when he publicly contradicted Gabrielle Union’s claim of racism on the set of America’s Got Talent, claiming that Gabrielle Union was either wrong or lying, and that there was no racism on the show.
He was heavily dragged on social media and was forced to apologize for his words. But folks online have since tagged him the two face of the Black community.
Once again, the actor is getting dragged on Twitter after he posted a ridiculous tweet criticizing the #BlackLivesMatter movement warning that it can’t turn into #BlackLivesBetter.
If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology.
We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter

“If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology,” he tweeted Tuesday. “We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter.”
Terry’s tweet was met with heavy criticism and garnered lots of reactions online. Bernice A. King, the daughter of slain civil rights activist, Martin Luther King Jr. also reacted to the controversial tweet.
“We’re so far from that bridge, Terry, “#BlackLivesMatter is, in part, a rallying cry and a protest slogan to galvanize people into doing the justice work needed to derail the deaths, dehumanization and destruction of Black lives that racism causes,” she tweeted in response.
“Justice is not a competition.”
You are right, @BerniceKing. I just want to make sure it stays that way. No competition, just creativity.#blacklivesmatter https://t.co/d06xYL78y3

Crews however retweeted her thoughts but that didn’t stop him from getting dragged by angry folks online. “terrycrews should’ve won America’s got talent with all this shuckin and jivin hes doin fornthese white folks..smh,” a twitter user wrote.
See some reactions below :
Terry Crews told Gabrielle Union she was in the wrong. He told his black daughters that it isn’t his job to protect them. He made up black supremacy so he could speak out against it. Terry Crews is a vocal, aggressive and insistent agent of white male supremacy.

Uncle tom singing for his supper. Trying to remain relevant with his white fan base at the expense of his brothers’ struggle. No wonder he is like Samuel Jackson in Django unchained “Massa he a good man, don’t take over de damn plantation.” pic.twitter.com/BZr1aBUchf
