Kodak Black Reacts To Lil Wayne Gun Charge: ‘Please Don’t Send Him To Prison’
Kodak Black Begs For Lil Wayne To Remain Free, Apologizes To Reginae Carter
Lil Wayne is currently facing up to 10 years in prison. The veteran rapper was charged last month for an offense from 2019 when police found weapons, ammunition, and more in his private jet.
Wayne’s attorney Howard Srebnick said at the time that he had been “cleared” to leave after the guns, ammo, and drugs were found.
However, Lil Wayne was charged with 1 count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. Wayne officially plead guilty to the charge in a virtual court in Miami and will have to wait for his sentencing, which is officially set to take place on January 28th.
Kodak Black, who’s criticized Lil Wayne and his daughter Reginae Carter in the past has now publicly shown support to Wayne amidst his legal foes.
The incarcerated rapper offered his wishes to Weezy who he said inspired him to be a rapper in the first place. “I Wish The Best For Lil Wayne. Please Don’t Send Him To Prison. He Inspired Me To Make Music,” he tweeted.
Kodak also offered an apology to Reginae Carter who he called Lil Wayne’s “bald-headed daughter,” among other things.
“I Truly Apologize For My Disturbance Have A Blessed Day @reginae_carter1,” he added.
