Lil Wayne is currently facing up to 10 years in prison. The veteran rapper was charged last month for an offense from 2019 when police found weapons, ammunition, and more in his private jet.

Wayne’s attorney Howard Srebnick said at the time that he had been “cleared” to leave after the guns, ammo, and drugs were found.

However, Lil Wayne was charged with 1 count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. Wayne officially plead guilty to the charge in a virtual court in Miami and will have to wait for his sentencing, which is officially set to take place on January 28th.
