LAPD Union Wants NBA To Investigate LeBron James Over Tweet
LAPD Union Calls For NBA To Investigate LeBron James Over Ma’Khia Bryant Tweet
LeBron James made controversial headlines over his tweet on Ma’Khia Bryant. “You’re Next #Accountability” the NBA star wrote alongside a photo of Nicholas Reardon, the Columbus Ohio police officer who shot and killed Ma’Khia Bryant.
Conservatives have since been giving the Los Angeles Lakers icon a hard time. He was accused of inciting violence against the officer. Although he’d denied the claims, critics won’t stop coming at him.
Former President Donald Trump even released a statement on LeBron’s tweet, saying the baller’s racist rants are divisive, nasty and insulting. James also received an open letter from an LAPD officer over the since deleted contentious tweet.

Now, the LAPD Union is hoping for LeBron to face punishment from the NBA as they think his tweet went against the league’s rules, according to KGW.
The police union that represents officers from the Los Angeles Police Department has sent a letter to the NBA asking the league to investigate LeBron James for his now-deleted tweet about the fatal police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant.
