A$AP Rocky Sets To Plead Guilty – Report

A$AP Rocky is reportedly close to a plea deal with Lots Angeles prosecutors that will likely land the rapper in prison for the next 12 months.

And A$AP’s baby mama, singer and beauty mogul Rihanna, plans to stay loyal to Rocky while he in behind bars.

The rapper – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – was arrested at Los Angeles International airport on April 20 by detectives from LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division in connection with a shooting that occurred in November 2021 and was later charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

LAPD sources say they have video of the shooting in their possession, presumably from a surveillance camera.

The guns discovered at A$AP’s home were not the gun used in the November attack. While that’s seemingly good news, it may not be enough to clear him since there is video evidence. The D.A. has not decided whether to charge Rocky.

He was booked for assault with a deadly weapon tied to November’s shooting, where an alleged argument erupted between Rocky and a companion and an unidentified victim, whose hand was reportedly “grazed” from the gunshot. It’s believed that A$AP and the person who was harmed were “acquaintances.”

The publication further claims that A$AP was startled by his arrest at LAX, adding that instead of giving him a voluntary surrender, police took matters into their own hands as soon as he stepped off the private jet.
