“His Reputation Is Restored, It Was Never About The Money,” Johnny Depp’s Lawyers Claim

Johnny Depp‘s attorneys appeared on multiple shows to discuss claims the trial was unfair.

Camille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew Johnny’s attorneys, spoke about how happy Johnny is to have won and that he “hasn’t smiled like this in six years” since when his problems with Heard began.

They also shot down Amber Heard’s claim that she lost the trial because he is more powerful and popular than she is, saying it’s “utterly false” that social media played a part and claiming the jury simply didn’t like her because she unlike Johnny “didn’t take accountability for anything”.

Johnny’s attorney’s also suggested that he might waive the $8million judgement Amber Heard was ordered to pay him. Her attorneys have stated that she can’t afford it and yesterday revealed plans to file an appeal.

Vasquez and Chew were asked whether or not they would waive the judgement, they said: “This was never about money for Mr. Depp. This was about restoring his reputation and he’s done that.”

They continued, The key to victory was focusing on the facts and the evidence and Johnny’s opportunity to speak the truth for the first time. He was able to connect with the jury and the general public and tell what really happened.”

As we earlier reported, Amber Heard is broke and hurting for cash due to hefty attorney fees and Johnny Depp’s $10m trial win. According to the New York Post, the Aquaman star is in no financial state to cover either of her fees.
