Woman Arrested After Kidnapping Two Men & Demanding Ransom From Their Relatives

44-year-old Reynaicela Alcasar has been arrested after being accused of kidnapping two men and requesting ransom from their relatives, according to KSAT.

The arrest warrant says that the two victims were brothers, who are ages 27 and 35.

San Antonio officials say Alcaser and other people involved held the two men from June 20 to June 21 as the men were also threatened with death and assault.

The sister of the victims contacted authorities to report the kidnapping after she received the ransom notice.

The affidavit noted that the suspect drove to a Walmart where she cashed a $2,000 payment at Western Union. Officials say Alcaser was identified through Walmart’s surveillance footage, as she also conversed with the suspect’s relatives on her phone.

While the suspect went to grab the ransom money, officers went to her home and arrested other people who were involved in the act.

The 44-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated kidnapping.
