Mugshot Released Of Highland Park Shooter Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III

4th of July turned tragic following a fatal mass shooting that took place yesterday in Highland Park, IL that claimed the lives of 6 people and injured 31.

Investigators say that the suspected shooter, Robert Crimo III, had planned the shooting for weeks and used women’s clothing to escape the scene.

We reported earlier that the shooter Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III has now been charged with 7 counts of first degree murder. Well, Robert’s mugshot has now been released online. Prosecutors say they found 83 shell casings on the rooftop where the shooter opened fire. The judge ordered he be held without bail.

The father of the alleged Highland Park shooter helped him get a gun even though it appears there were signs he was unfit. According to TMZ, police officials say Robert Crimo received help from his father in obtaining a gun permit in 2020.

He allegedly sponsored his then 19-year-old son for a firearm owner’s identification card, which he needed to buy a semi-automatic weapon. despite alarming incidents just months earlier.

Police have revealed that this is not their first run-in with the alleged shooter. The first incident took place in 2019 in which Crimo threatened to kill himself, and another where he threatened to kill his own family.

Cops say the latter resulted in him having multiple knives temporarily taken by law enforcement after his parents refused to press charges and Crimo told them he wasn’t a danger to himself and others.
