Chicago Woman Charged After She Allegedly Dismembered Her Landlord

According to Fox 32 Chicago on Wednesday, a Chicago woman named Sandra Kolalou was charged with murdering her landlord. Kolalou used long butcher knives, then put her landlord’s body parts in a freezer.

Tenants claim they heard screaming, which prompted them to immediately text and call their landlord, Francis Walker, to make sure everything was OK.

When officers arrived on the scene, Kolalou was fleeing in a tow truck. She allegedly declined to interview with the CPD. She told the officers she knew her rights. Originally, officers believed that there wasn’t any foul play surrounding Walker’s death.

Until they found bloody rags in Kolalou’s home. Every tenant was cooperating with the police except Kolalou. Detectives filed a search warrant and found Walker’s body parts in a freezer.

CPD made the following statements, “The residents were very cooperative. When they heard the scream, when they woke up in the morning, they immediately started texting the victim … started calling the victim. The victim didn’t answer.”

“There were some texts that were sent back from the victim’s phone. It appears from what we know now that the defendant was sending texts from the victim’s phone and not answering it.”

The statement continued, “Due to the fact that there had been arguments before with this defendant and other people in the residence, the tenants immediately in the morning tried to figure out what was wrong … but they didn’t just have free rein over the house,”
