Jonathan Majors Officially Charged With Assault & Harassment Following His Recent Arrest
Jonathan Majors is now being officially charged with assault and harassment following his arrest this weekend for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
This past Sunday, Majors was arraigned in NYC on multiple misdemeanor charges including assault, attempted assault, harassment, and aggravated harassment.
Majors’ lawyer released a statement today to further prove his innocence. They claim that Majors, when all the evidence is presented, will be cleared of all charges. His lawyer also states that Major was the one who actually called 911 despite being the person who was arrested.

“To set the record straight: as confirmed by one of the woman’s own written statements disavowing her allegations, it is Mr. Majors who called 911 due to concern for her mental health,” Priya Chaudry’s statement said.
A judge released Majors on his own recognisance and granted a limited order of protection. His next court appearance is scheduled for 8 May.
In the complaint, the unnamed female accuser claimed the defendant did “strike her about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear” and that he “put his hand on her neck, causing bruising and substantial pain”.
“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” the actor’s criminal defense lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, said in a statement on Sunday after he was arrested.
