Usher Says He Would Like To Headline The Superbowl
“I Think I Have A Catalog That Speaks For Itself” – Usher On Headlining The Superbowl
It’s no secret Usher has hits for days, so it’s surprising that the Grammy Award winning singer hasn’t been asked to headline a Super Bowl halftime show yet.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Usher was asked if he would be down to take the stage at the Super Bowl.
“I’d be a fool to say no,” he said. “If things line up the way we would all hope, one day that moment would happen. I’ve had the opportunity to graze the stage in support of ‘OMG’ and Will.i.am but that was one moment.”

Usher continued, “I think I have a catalog that obviously speaks for itself, so to be able to celebrate on that day, it’s obviously about football, but everybody really anticipates the performance.”
“Seeing Michael Jackson perform and recently seeing Snoop [Dogg] and [Dr.] Dre … seeing so many incredible performances like Prince… it has always been kind of a bucket list,” he added.
“The humbleness is ridiculous, but I love it. This man is a legend. Period! I just saw him at Dreamville and will be seeing him in Vegas in June,” someone commented.
“I’m here for it Jaz Z need to make it happen,” another person wrote. “Please and bring Ciara with you,” someone else added.
