Gabrielle Union Reveals She & Dwyane Wade Split Everything

During a recent interview, Gabrielle Union opened up about the anxiety she gets when it comes to her finances.

Despite being a multimillionaire and being married to one as well, the iconic actress says she still worries the “rug can be pulled from under her.”

While interviewing with Bloomberg, she was asked “When did she first develop her first sense of [financial] security,” after working so many jobs. “I still struggle with that,” she responded.

“I have more responsibilities for my money,” she continued. “I get nervous if a movie doesn’t open, am I gonna have enough to hold everyone up?” Something she says helps with that is her and her hubby Dwyane Wade’s decision to split everything 50/50.

Gabrielle says she’s responsible for so many people that if she doesn’t work, “somebody ain’t gone eat.”

After years of dating rumors, Union and Wade made their red-carpet debut at the Summer Groove Charity event. The couple’s appearance together came one month after Wade’s divorce was finalized.

Wade proposed to Union, who happily announced the couple’s engagement on Instagram. The ring reportedly cost $1 million. The celebrity couple tied the knot on August 30, 2014. After the wedding, they embarked on a honeymoon in the Maldives.
