Halle Berry Finally Beats Her Baby Daddy In Court, Lowers Child Support He Receives

Halle Berry has been fighting with her child’s father Gabrielle Autry over child support for the last 10 years. He was asking the court for Halle to pay him millions a year, so that he could be a stay at home dad with their daughter Nahla.

Fortunately for the actress, she finally won and now Gabriel is going to have to get a job.

Halle Berry, 56, has spent years and millions in legal fees fighting this custody battle with the father of her eldest daughter children, Nahla Ariela Aubry, 15. The Monster’s Ball actress was ordered to pay Gabriel Aubry $16,000 per month plus a lump sum of $115,000 when the pair first locked horns in LA Superior Court in 2014 – a figure she would later blast as ‘extortion’.

In 2021 she succeeded in cutting that figure to $8,000 a month, but the Oscar winner was made to pay him an additional 4.3 percent of any annual income she made over $1.95million.

Now, new filings are allowing Halle to cap the “bonus” child support payments. ‘Halle shall continue to pay Gabriel 4.3% of any income she receives above $1.95 million, as and for additional child support for Nahla, however, any additional payments of child support pursuant to this Paragraph shall not exceed $109,650 per year, which is the difference between 4.3% of $1.95 million and $4.5 million,’ the filing states.

‘The parties agree that additional child support over and above $109,650 per year would exceed Nahla’s reasonable needs.’

Before this ruling, Gabriel could receive child support in excess of $350,000 per year … now he’s capped at a little over $100K.
