Multiple Deputies Fired After Two Black Men File Lawsuit Alleging Torture & Sexual Abuse

Six Mississippi deputies have been fired after being accused of sexually assaulting two black men before shooting one of them in the mouth.

According to USA Today, Michael Corey Jenkins and his friend Eddie Terrell Parker say that the deputies burst into a home they were in without a warrant.

The deputies then allegedly beat them, assaulted them with sex toys, and tased them with a taser numerous of times for what was said to have been an hour and a half. Jenkins in particular revealed one of the deputies shoved a gun in his mouth and then fired the weapon, leaving him with injuries to his face, tongue, and jaw.

Representing attorney’s for the two men said in a released statement that although the deputies involved have been fired, they will not be satisfied “until justice is done for these families”.

In fact, they are reportedly calling for criminal charges to be filed against them.

Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey announced in a release statement that he will not be providing any names of the deputies involved statement, he understands “that the alleged actions of these deputies have eroded the public’s trust,” Bailey said. “Rest assured that we will work diligently to restore that trust”.

No additional questions about the incident were answered with no body camera footage to show. Jenkins and Parker are seeking a $400M lawsuit in damages.
