Woman Forced To Get Her Leg Amputated After It Gets Stuck Inside A Moving Walkway At A Thailand Airport

A Thai woman is out here with one-less leg after she was caught inside a moving walkway at the Thailand airport.

This unfortunate incident happened early today inside the Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok.

The 57-year-old victim reportedly suffered the gruesome injury while trying to make a 9:45 AM flight. While walking on the moving platform, her foot became trapped in Terminal 2.

Horrified onlookers rushed to hit the emergency off switch as her leg became mangled.

When medics arrived, they unfortunately had no choice but to amputate her leg above her knee to stop her from being trapped.

The Associated Press reports the woman is trying to get her leg reattached— she’s been taken to two different hospitals for treatment.

Airport officials say they will cover her medical bills also.
