In a highly distressing incident that occurred on Thursday, July 27, 2023, a Missouri City woman was arrested and now faces serious charges after allegedly using her own child as a human shield during a high-speed car chase.

The incident, which occurred on a busy highway, was captured on video and has sparked widespread shock and outrage.

The video footage, which has since gone viral, shows Tenescha Selena Henry leading authorities on a dangerous chase across multiple lanes of traffic. Shockingly, Henry can be seen holding her young child in the backseat, using the innocent child as a shield against potential police intervention.

Eyewitnesses reported a chaotic scene as Henry maneuvered the vehicle recklessly, endangering the lives of her child, other motorists, and law enforcement officers.

Traffic came to a standstill as officers worked swiftly to de-escalate the situation and bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion.

Following the high-speed chase, authorities were able to apprehend Henry and safely remove the child from the vehicle. Henry was immediately arrested and taken into custody on various charges, including child endangerment, reckless driving, and evading arrest.
