8-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Shot In The Head By Nanny’s 11-Year-Old Son

This story is very sad. An 8-year-old girl has tragically passed away after being shot in the head by an 11-year-old boy.

According to the Daily Mail, 8-year-old Jenesis Dockery was shot in the head by her nanny’s 11-year-old son an hour after being dropped off at the nanny’s place by her father.

He allegedly stole a gun from his mother’s safe. Jenesis was rushed to a local hospital, but died two days later.

The boy is in custody and based on sufficient evidence, he could be charged with manslaughter.

Jenesis’ father, Fon Dockery, spoke out and said, “My daughter’s life was tragically taken. It hurt my heart to think that I would be in a situation where I would have to comfort my youngest daughter…[Jenesis] wanted to dance and just live life, man. She loved making TikTok videos.”

The Dockery family are currently campaigning for justice to be served and for gun violence awareness. Jenesis’ funerall was held this past Wednesday and a GoFundMe created by the family has raised over $23K.

The news has since gone viral on social media garnering mixed reactions from folks online. “Charged the parent wtf,” someone commented.
