NYPD Says Kai Cenat Will Be Charged With Multiple Counts After PS5 Giveaway Caused Riot

Twitch Streamer Kai Cenat Arrested After Causing A Mass Riot In The Streets Of New York

Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, has been trending after a mass riot ensued following his massive PS5 giveaway in New York City’s Union Square Park.

Thousands of young adults gathered for the giveaway and they soon got quite unruly. At first, the members of the media couldn’t understand why there were so many young adults at the park.

They started revolting, mugging each other and getting into fights very quickly. Cenat is a known main collaborator of IShowSpeed, who is also one of the world’s most famous streamers and a massive soccer fan.

As tension escalated, Cenat appeared in his car and attempted to start his giveaway. It didn’t take long to take a hard left turn as rioters started pushing and jumping on Kai Cenat’s car.

When they were able to advance, there were many still on top of the car and falling as the car accelerated. Law enforcement called for all available units to that location and they really struggled to control the situation.

As soon as they were tipped of the reason for these riots, the NYPD quickly moved on to arrest Kai Cenat. He is going to spend the night in jail and faces harsh punishment for what he did. In the videos released online, there were police officers trying to contain the crowds but they really struggled to do so.

According to CNN, police arrested 65 people, including 35 juveniles. NYPD says Kai Cenat will be charged with multiple counts over the incident.
