Somalia Athletics President Allegedly Allowed Niece To Represent Country Despite Not Being Trained

Somalia Athletics President Accused Of Allowing His Niece To Represent Country Despite Not Being Trained

Social users are outraged after witnessing a female athlete from Somalia’s poor performance in the 100m at the FISU 2023 World University Games.

While it’s unfair to say she didn’t look as toned and trained as the other athletes…that didn’t stop social users from saying it!

Nasra Ali Abukar ran the distance in 21.81 seconds, finishing 10 seconds behind the other runners. Many people were wondering how the hell she was allowed out there with no experience or training.

Turns out she was chosen by the Ministry of Youth and Sport in Somalia to represent her country. It also alleged that she is the the niece of the Somalia Athletics President, Abdullahi Ahmed Tarabi

One social user wrote, “How could they select an untrained girl to represent Somalia in running? It’s truly shocking and reflects poorly on our country internationally.”

Looks like sis was there for a good time and a “long” time. Sorry, Somalia.

“This can’t be real,” another person wrote. “A visual of me lying in my resume,” someone else added.
