Football Player Bails Estranged Wife Out Of Jail On $100K Bond After She Hired A Hitman To Kill Him

Former Auburn football player, Robert Shiver, is making headlines for reportedly bailing his wife out of jail after finding out she sought a murder for hire plot on him.

Yes, you read that correctly, his wife Linsday Shivers, 36, and her alleged lover Terrence Bethel, 28, orchestrated the plan along with a third suspect by the name of Faron Newbold.

The plot was reportedly revealed after authorities searched Bethels’ phone in a separate investigation over burglary. Upon finding the evidence, the trio were transported to a prison in Nassau where they were arrested and put on bail.

Linsday was given $100k cash bail while the other two were granted $20k bail. All three have agreed to wear ankle monitors as well. They will also be surrendering their travel documents and are banned from contacting Robert.

Robert found out about the plot after officials contacted him while he was at his family’s home back in Thomasville, Georgia with his three kids.

Robert revealed he filed for divorce from his wife due to ‘adulterous conduct’, while Linsday accused Robert of domestic violence, cutting her off from his money, and “physical and mental cruel treatment.

Linsday’s court appearance for her deposition has been pushed back to October 31st due to her not having the money before Robert paid for her bail. Robert is seeking full custody of their three children, sole use of their home, and that Linsday’s alimony request be dismissed.
