Teenage Girl Facing Criminal Charges For Fleeing Police To Rush Her Mother To The Hospital For Medical Emergency

A teenage girl from Little Rock, Arkansas is facing criminal charges for allegedly fleeing from police to rush her mother to the hospital for a medical emergency.

According to ABC7, 18-year old Kenochia Moss was in a hurry to the emergency room because her mother, Tahirah Hart, was suffering symptoms of unusual chest pains that caused her to think she was having a heart attack after just being released from a hospital for surgery.

Hart recalls, “It started feeling like it was tightening up, so I told my kids, ‘Come on. Let’s go. Take me back to the emergency room.’”

As Hart, along with twin daughters Kenochia and Keochia, got in the car, Hart’s symptoms started getting worse as she says she had “a shooting pain, and my left hand went numb, and I told my baby Kenochia to hurry up and get me there.”

From there, Little Rock Police were in pursuit of the family for Kenochia speeding up to 115 mph and expressed that Kenochia had passed two hospitals as well. Kenochia was headed to Baptist Hospital.

Arkansas State Trooper intervened and caused the cars to crash into each other, coming to a stop. The family exits the vehicle where Kenochia pleads to police, “You got to help me please, please, my mama. Please help my mama. She just got out of the hospital. She had surgery.”

The State Trooper, Montae Hernandez, wrote her a ticket for fleeing which is a misdemeanor before allowing her to take her mother to the hospital. Kenochia is expected to appear in court for trail on September 6th.
