Texas Woman Celebrates 114th Birthday With 5 Generations Of Family By Her Side

A Texas woman just celebrated a big birthday!. Elizabeth Francis recently turned 114 and brought in the special day by celebrating with five different generations of family members by her side.

According to Good Morning America, Francis, born in 1909, is known as a “supercentenarian” and is one of a few people to live beyond 110.

Francis claims that the secret to her long-lasting years roaming the planet is due to not drinking and smoking but eating “everything.”

In addition, Francis’ daughter, Dorothy Ray Williams, is celebrating her 94th birthday this week.

Williams spoke in an interview along with her daughter and Francis about her mom, saying “It’s hard to believe, but it’s a blessing because she has been a wonderful mother and grandmother to all of us. She has been our backbone.”

The news spread out on social media and has since been garnering lots of reactions from folks online. “What a blessing,” someone commented.

“The fact that she is 114 and her daughter is 94 and both are still alive is super cool,” another person wrote. “She looks good and have her right mind frame,” someone else added.
