Jackson Mahomes Sexual Assault Accuser Closes Down Restaurant Due To Sharp Decline In Sales
The woman who accused Jackson Mahomes of sexual assault has closed down her bar/restaurant due to a sharp decline in sales, as well as threats and harassment, according to reports from the Kansas City Star.
The restaurant’s owner, Aspen Vaughn, accused Mahomes of forcibly kissing her and grabbing her by the throat during an incident in February 2023. The 23 year old was also accused of shoving a male waiter on the same night.
Jackson, the younger brother of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes, was arrested and charged with three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and one misdemeanor count of battery in May.

Vaughn told The Star that she’s experienced death threats, harassment and vandalism to her restaurant amid this ongoing legal situation. In July, she said that business had plummeted 75% since the incident.
Back in May, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of NFL superstar Patrick, was arrested and charged with sexual battery, according to court records. Mahomes was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one of battery by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office.
The 22-year-old was arrested at 7 a.m. ET on Wednesday and was booked into a detention center. He posted $100,000 bond and was released, court records show. Mahomes did not speak during his first court appearance. Before he posted bond, he appeared virtually in custody from the jail, according to CNN affiliate KCTV.
Upon leaving court, he did not respond to reporters’ questions about the incident. A man escorting him said, “We can’t say anything right now, excuse us.” In a statement sent to CNN, Jackson Mahomes’ agent, Brandan Davies, said: “The Court has prohibited the defendant and lawyers from commenting on the matter.”
