Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of KC Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, received 6 months probation after pleading no contest to a simple battery charge after he was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery in May 2023.

Jackson was filmed on security cameras at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas, in February 2023, allegedly grabbing the owner by the neck and forcibly kissing her three times.

Three of Jackson’s sexual battery charges were dropped because restaurant owner Aspen Vaughn refused to testify.

She previously revealed her restaurant had been vandalized and she received death threats after the incident and said her restaurant eventually closed due to negative publicity.

The woman reported that she endured death threats and harassment and that her restaurant was vandalized in the wake of the charges. She closed the restaurant in August.

Jackson Mahomes is not the only relative of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ family to face recent brushes with the law. The NFL player’s father, former Major League Baseball pitcher Patrick Mahomes Sr., was arrested in Texas on Feb. 3, accused of driving while intoxicated.

A week later, Patrick Mahomes earned his third Super Bowl championship ring in February, leading the Chiefs to a 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
