Popular Orlando Hairstylist Ruby K’ior, Mother Of Two, Shot & Killed

A young woman, mother of two, was killed in shooting down in Orlando, Florida. Police are still trying to piece the evidence together to figure what led up to the fatal shooting and why.

According to reports, police responded to a call about a shooting around 3pm on Friday outside of The Palms on Orange Blossom Trail. When they arrived, they found Ruby K’ior dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

A video recording captured the scene, which showed a woman being pushed to the ground, and a man discharged multiple rounds, hitting Ruby K’ior, 31, several times.

Ruby ended up passing away from her injuries, while the suspect, Delray Shundale Duncan Junior, took off. Three other people were also shot, but their injuries were listed as non-life threatening.

Police said they were notified about the type of car the suspect was in and pursued a brief chase, which ended two miles from the scene of the crime. Three people were reported to have been inside the black Impala when it was stopped, and one of them are among the 4 individuals that were shot at the scene.

Delray was arrested Friday on counts of attempted homicide and first-degree criminal murder in connection with the incident.
