7-Year-Old Boy Now An Orphan After Father Shot & Killed His Mother, Then Gunned Down By Police

A 7-year-old boy is without both of his parents after a domestic dispute led to the slaying of his mother and an officer-involved shooting that claimed the life of his father.

According to KTVU, Alona Gallon, 24, was at work at a local Toyota car dealership in Albany, CA when her child’s father, whose name has not been released yet, entered the building to deliver her coffee.

According to witnesses, the man walked out, then came back with a gun and shot and killed her inside the building. Then, once police arrived on the scene, the officers were met with gunfire and they fired back, killing the man. As of now, the motive behind the shooting has not been revealed. The two were reportedly not in a relationship at the time, but co-parenting together.

Alona’s mother, Yuvonda Gallon, says she is distraught that her daughter is gone and she’s demanding answers from the police department after they never revealed the details to the grieving mother. Yuvonda says though she’s sad, she’s even more upset that her grandson King, 7, is now without a mother and a father.

“That is saddening for me for real,” Gallon said. “I told him that his mom and his dad were gone, and he laid his head back and said, ‘No they’re not.’ He walked out crying, he’d seen everyone crying.”

“It’s going to be hard for me, hard for my family, of course, because she was loved by everyone. Everyone loved my daughter,” Gallon said. “Her son is going to need therapy. I’m going to need therapy.”

This is terrible and senseless! Praying for King and the rest of their families.
