Dame Dash Wants Child Support Payment Reduced, Claims He Makes About $5K Annually

It appears Dame Dash is renegotiating his child support payments because he simply doesn’t have the funds!

According to TMZ, he can’t afford the monthly $3K his BM Rachel Roy is asking for. He claims to only have made $5,140 in 2022 and wants his payment reduced to $428/month.

Dame blames his misfortune on business deals gone bad but Rachel doesn’t believe a damn thing he’s saying. She claims Dame continues to own a major stake in Roc-A-Fella and that he has other business endeavors that he’s not disclosing.

Damon Anthony Dash is an entrepreneur and record executive. Dash is best known as co-founder of Roc-A-Fella along with Jay-Z and Kareem Burke.

In 2018, Dash settled a suit he filed against director Lee Daniels requesting $5 million to recoup a $2 million investment with interest. Lee had received financial support from Dash early in his career, and reportedly failed to repay him despite his subsequent success.

In November 2019, Dash was arrested for failing to pay more than $400,000 in child support. Dash was in New York City for an unrelated Federal Court appearance when he was arrested for two warrants. The first warrant was issued in April 2015 in the Supreme Court in New York County case of Cindy Morales; he owed $62,553 since 2012.

The second warrant was issued in March 2019 in the Bronx Family Court case of Rachel Roy. He was ordered to pay her $341,991 and $25,000 for attorney fees in 2015. Dash reportedly paid more than $1 million to be released.
